Are you accepting flowers, or donations to a charity in your mom's name?

  3. Bobbi-Lynn

You may send anything you would like - we are accepting donations to the Sarnia branch of the Canadian Cancer Society (where my mom worked) or to a fund for my siblings education

  4. is there a way to donate online such as a paypal account set up for this purpose? I know there are many of us in the states that would like to do something

  5. Your Mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street, she's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick and perfume that she wore.
She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well, she's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she's crystallized in every tear drop. A mother shows every emotion..........happiness, sadness, fear, jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy, sorrow..... and all the while, hoping and praying you will only know the good feelings in life. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space...............not even death!

I am not sure who is posting all the updates etc about your mum but can I just say you are a true blessing to your mum's memory. I can only fahthom how hard this is for you yet your posts show strength and courage in this hard time.
God Bless and will pray for continued strength during this time.

  9. Hi Katie,
Your mom and I were pregnant at the same time with you and my daughter Holly. We went to breast-feeding classes together. She gave Holly her first haircut--I still have her locks of hair in an envelope and a picture of your mom at our house giving the haircut. I remember your mom's wonderful smile and sense of humour, always at ease with everyone in every situation. love and sympathy to you and your family, Janet and Gary Shrumm, Derek and Holly too (St. Helen's buddies)
